POSTAGE STAMP T-45C GOSHAWK 1/100

The T-45 Goshawk is a tandem-seat jet trainer used by the US Navy and Marine Corps pilots for carrier capable training. The T-45 Goshawk replaced the T-2C Buckeye and the TA-4J Skyhawk with an integrated training system that included the aircraft, high-fidelity instrument and flight simulators, and logistics support. First delivered in 1997, the T-45C had reinforced airframe and a more robust landing gear to handle the stresses of catapult take off and carrier landings. Later versions also have enhanced avionics systems, which included the adoption of a glass cockpit and head-up display (HUD) which made it more similar to the Navy's advanced jet fighters.
